By car

From Barn Cottages Oxford is 80mins by car, London 2 hours, Bath 20mins and Salisbury 1 hour. The Cotswolds starts just 10mins from here and Bourton-on-the-Water is 1 hour away.
The M4 motorway is 6 miles(15mins) to the north making it easy to travel into Wales or to Birmingham and Manchester.
Bournemouth and the South Coast can be easily reached on the A350.

By train

Chippenham, our local town is 3 miles away and has a station on the main London to Bristol inter-city railway. Trains generally run every 30mins and London Paddington is 75mins. You can also get trains to Oxford (change at Didcot) and Salisbury(change at Bath). Changing at Bristol you can get to Exeter, Plymouth,Penzance,Birmingham etc.

Airports

Barn Cottages are about 90mins by car from Heathrow Airport, Britains major terminus but Bristol Airport which serves many destinations in Europe and further afield is only 30 miles away.
